This hike is part of the Conditioning Hiking Series Couse. Do not sign up for this hike unless you are a participant of the course. This hike will be lead a moderate, steady pace. The first part of the trail is in shady forest so we'll keep cool until we get to the ridge above the lakes. Once we reach the crest of the ridge we will be mostly in the open as we descend to Pratt Lake. If we have time we can make a side trip to another lake nearby (there are a couple to choose from). It will probably be buggy so bring bug juice. Your choice as to footwear -- the trail is reportedly muddy near Pratt Lake. There iare also Green Trails maps for this hike - No. 207 Snoqualmie Pass & 206 Bandera.
