Day Hike - Port Gamble Forest Heritage Park

Easy winter loop hike on both forest road and trail.

We'll meet at 9:00 AM at the "Bay Town" Trailhead.   No passes required.  There is  porto at the trailhead.   

And if you need another round of caffeine before heading home, there is a drive-thru espresso or light sandwiches/soups at the Port Gamble General Store, both in Port Gamble.  

The trail is generally maintained but depending on rainfall prior to the hike, there can be a few spots with mud or light water crossings.  There are options to change the route if that happens.  Also, we'll try to return on a quieter trail that avoids the late starting  hikers...

Trekking poles recommended.
