Day Hike - Port Gamble Forest Heritage Park
Mushrooms! We'll start by gathering at my house in Kingston. I'll have samples and information on how to identify them. Then we'll head out to the trails near Port Gamble to see what we can find and identify, on a 4 - 5 mile loop.

Meet at my house: 27084 Ohio Ave. NE, Kingston at 9:00am. Or, if you would like to walk on the Kingston/Edmonds ferry, I can pick you up and drop you back off.
Bring a basket, box, or large paper bag for carrying any mushroom treasures you want to bring back with you and a whistle. A small knife, and a small brush can be helpful. And of course, warm clothes, sturdy shoes or boots, a small backpack and the 10 essentials for any hike.
