7:30pm meeting time at the parking lot of the big grass, paraglider landing field which is NEXT to Seattle Paragliding at 11206 Issaquah-Hobart Rd SE, Issaquah, 98027. Please be ready to go. Depending on the weather, parking could be a challenge, so we will figure out any special logistics a day in advance. An email will go out after registration closes.
It's the first Friday of Summer and close to being the longest day of the year, so let's stretch out the day and go watch the sunset at Poo Poo Point! We will hike at a casual pace and take a couple short breaks on the way up. The trail is very steep, so participants should be strong enough to hike up hill for 2 miles straight up and 2 miles straight down. Cameras and fun snacks are encouraged. Once the sun sets, it will be quite a bit darker heading back down through the woods, so please bring a headlamp with fresh batteries and trekking poles for a safe descent.
