Day Hike - Poo Poo Point

Night hike from Issaquah High School to Poo Poo Point. Get out and get some exercise while the trail isn't crowded.

Meeting place will be at the Issaquah High School parking lot at 4:30 pm; boots on the trail at 4:45 pm. There are no passes required for this parking lot.

The majority of this hike will be in the dark; it is not a beginner hike.  Please be prepared for darkness, rain, mud, and cold.  This is a winter conditioning hike.

 Directions to Issaquah High School from I-90:  From I90, take exit #18 for E Sunset Way, take a right and merge onto E Sunset Way. Turn Left on 2nd Ave SE. In about 1/2 mile, turn left into the school at 700 2nd Ave SE, Issaquah WA, 98027. We'll meet in the back of the parking lot near the stairs going up to the athletic fields.

Please be comfortable with night hiking, as most of our hike will be in the dark.  A headlamp with extra batteries will be required.  Some folks also find trekking poles useful for night hiking.

We will be hiking at a moderate pace with very few rest stops and will take a quick break at the top before returning to our cars. 

This is a winter conditioning hike; please be prepared for weather.

Lastly: we will be hiking together as a group and supporting each other.
