Park alongside the road just outside the Rhododendron Garden at Point Defiance.  Since the road is one way at this point, be careful not to miss it.  Meet at the Rhododendron Garden trailhead at 9:15am and be ready to hike by 9:30am.

**I will be carrying my 9 month old baby.  Although we hike frequently and she does great, please be patient if I need to check on her at some point during the hike**

This hike is part of our new hike category of CASUAL PACED HIKES.  Everyone is welcome.  We will only go as fast as the whole group can go.  If you are new to the Mountaineers, are getting back into hiking, or just want a slower-paced hike, this is for you!

This is a trail hike with some brief uphill sections, but we will take it nice and easy.  We may see deer, raccoons or bald eagles along the way.
