BY REGISTERING THIS LEADER CONSIDERS YOU MADE A COMMITMENT TO THE TRIP. It's only good form to cancel in the event of an injury, illness or an emergency. Even if there are people on the wait list it's often difficult to move them up close to the trip date. THANK YOU!

From Fort Nisqually we will take the park’s Outer Loop Tail marked by posts with a blue square. The route takes in some shaded forest areas and some great viewpoints on a clear day including over Vashon Island, Gig Harbor, Tacoma Narrows and the Bridges. We can stop take pictures and have snacks at each viewpoint. Those who bring a packed lunch can have it back at the Fort Nisqually Trailhead where there are shelters and a restroom.

The trail is 4.3 miles long and 250 ft. elevation gain. The trails in mainly on dirt and loose rock but is well maintained in most places. I plan to lead the trip at a leisurely to moderate pace, a little less than 2 MPH average moving speed.

Full trip details will be emailed as soon as registration closed.
