Jan. 16, Sat. – Point Defiance Park (E) (map) 3.6 mi. rt. Gain 200’. Family hike, especially for children, but anyone is welcome. Moderate/slow pace. This loop trail has some of the best things of Northwest hiking - forest walks, well maintained trail, wildlife and some great views. However, you are often reminded you are in the middle of an urban area. Call or email hike leader Anne Whitney. 360-753-6526 or E-mail: alobe75290@aol.com
