Fort Nisqually Picnic Shelter 9am

You’ve waited a year for this to return and now is your chance to jump at the opportunity to hike beautiful Point Defiance Park with us and fill your mouth with yummy sugar-coated deliciousness at our post-hike cookie exchange. Baked goods to share are a requirement to join this trip.

What to bring for the post-hike cookie exchange:

  • 4 dozen homemade cookies wrapped in individual packages of 4 each.
  • A container to take home your goodies.
  • A warm drink for yourself or a way to heat water and your choice of beverage.
  • Warm clothes for outside socializing at the shelter.

If there is enough interest and leaders, we may add some additional spaces to the roster and organize into two groups that will meet at the same date and time but each group will hike a slightly different route. At the conclusion of the hike, we will meet at the shelter for the cookie exchange and some social time.
