One of my favorite hikes, the first three miles go through a forest before breaking into the open until arriving at the falls at Perry Creek. The cool temperatures here make an inviting rest stop before tackling an uphill climb that will have you muttering under your breath but then, once you break out onto the ridge and come upon the meadows, all that is forgotten. Riders should remember to bring cash to help defray the costs incurred by those driving. Dinner afterwards at Olympic Pizza in that thriving cosmopolitan metropolis, Granite Falls. Let me know if you have any questions.
