Meet at 7:30 AM at the Chuckanut P&R (Exit 231 off of I-5) (recommended)
Or 8:45 AM at TH
We will hike to the Park Butte lookout and back. The trail offers plenty of views of Mt. Baker and numerous other mountains. If we're lucky, there will also be lots of blueberries. (We will not be doing the Scott Paul loop on the way back, since one of the bridges was not re-installed this season)
This trail can be hot and sunny sometimes, so please bring lots of water. Hiking boots are strongly recommended. Hiking poles might be a good idea.
The pace will be about 2 mph, with breaks for pictures, water, and food as needed.
A Northwest Forest Pass is required at the trailhead.
This trip will go rain or shine.
