Legs need a stretch after a long winter? Are you up for an adventure? Join me for this exploratory hike to a beautiful, low elevation lake in the Goat Rocks Wilderness. The weather forecast is looking favorable, and recent trip reports say that the road to the trailhead is in good shape and the trail itself in good condition with little or no snow. Round trip mileage is about 10 miles with minimal elevation gain of 600'. Carpooling is recommended. We will meet in the parking lot of the Seasons Hotel at the junction of Highway 7 and Highway 12 in Morton, WA at 9:00 a.m. This is a drive of approximately 2 hours from Seattle. A carpool is leaving Seattle at 6:45 a.m. and leaving Auburn at 7:30 a.m.
