Day Hike - Packwood Lake

Marvel at the views of the Goat Rocks Wilderness with Johnson Peak stealing the scene and enjoy unobstructed view of Agnes Island that sits in the middle of the lake.

Meet at 5:30 am at the southwest section of Ash Way P&R. It is a long drive to the trailhead.

This is a slow-paced hike. If you cannot hike slow, you might be happy on another hike. To me, it's more about the journey, not the destination. Plan for an after-hike dineout, otherwise you will have to drive yourself or carpool with those not planning to go to the dineout.
