Ozette triangle is named for the loop's shape. It is also named the Cape Alava-Sand Point Loop in the 100 Classic Hikes in Washington book. We begin from the Ozette Campground and will hike 3 miles on a boardwalk, 3 miles on the beach and 3 miles on a forest trail. We will look for pictographs on the beach and if the weather is mild, we may make a side trip (1-1/2 miles one way) to Ozette River for a far off look at the Point of Arches. You are encouraged to spend the night in the area before the hike, but I will release participant information as the date gets closer to help facilitate carpooling arrangements. National Parks Pass or fee required. Map: GT 130S Ozette Co-leader: Monty Pratt
