9:00 AM at West side of I-5 Exit 231 (Chuckanut Drive)
This is a hike offered as part of the Basic Wilderness Travel (BWT) course, but open to all members. May 1, Sun. - BWT: Oyster Dome (M) (USGS Bow/Bellingham South) 6 mi., 1900’ gain. This is the easy trail to this viewpoint which has breath-taking views of the San Juans, the Olympics, etc., passing a couple lovely little lakes along the way. Moderate pace.
