Carpooling is highly recommended as it might be as much as 140 miles round trip. Bring a picnic lunch (or you can purchase food). We will take the first tram of the day (9:30 am) which gives the best access to the animals. The animals are fed in the morning close to the trails that the trams take. You can get driving directions on the Northwest Trek website and/or use Mapquest for travel time from your starting point. Call me (206) 818-4050 if you have any questions. Go to the NW Trek website is http://www.nwtrek.org/ to see entrance fees. Fees are as follows: Under 64 yrs.: $15.50 (AAA member: $13.50); 65 & over: $14.00 (AAA member: $12.00).
