Meet shortly before 6pm, geared up, at the corner of W Boston St and 14th Avenue West on the west sign of Queen Anne Hill.  We plan to start hiking at 6pm.  With sunset at 4:46pm we may see some light dancing on the Sound.

If driving, park on W Boston, anywhere on the block east of 14th Avenue West.  RapidRide D Line runs between Downtown, Ballard and north to Crown Hill, with stops along 15th -- https://kingcounty.gov/depts/transportation/metro/schedules-maps/route/d-line.aspx

Northwest Queen Anne is another in the Seattle Stairways Walks series.  This evening, urban hike catches many stairs with grand western views across the industrial area below and Puget Sound. Busy, nearby 15th Ave W holds various eateries.  These evening walks call for headlamps, reflective clothing and good conversation.

With over 300 stairs down and 200 stairs up, we'll get a good workout.  We extend the guidebook's Hike 12 to include Seattle Pacific University, a splendid campus with handy bathrooms and snacks available in the Student Union.
