Meet in Jose Rizal Park (1007 12th Ave South) across the street from PacMed about 5:50pm, geared up for a 6pm start. On street parking is available.

This mildly up-and-down walk is a slight variation on Walk #14  in David Williams' 2017 Seattle Walks, University of Washing Press.  We'll go around 4.0 miles including a dash over (above) I-90 (and back) on Dr. Jose Rizal   Bridge. Metro Transit Bus Routes abound in the city.

Our route takes us through one of the more ethnically and geographically isolated parts of the city.  And you'll see that the diversity mix continues to change as properties change hands.

We'll touch base with early European settlers and check out several buildings (mostly from outside) that maintain a link to the 20th Century.

Dress for the weather and the evening.  It will be dark and some travel is on city streets, so headlamps (or handheld lights) are required and reflective clothing is advised.
