We will hike to Norse Peak (MS) (GT Bumping Lake) 10 mi., 2700’ gain. We will discover an abandoned lookout site above Crystal Mountain with great 360 degree views, weather permitting, which include Mt Adams, the Goat Rocks and Mt Rainier. We’ll hike to it by way of the Bullion Basin Trail, the “Elevator”, a scenic portion of the Pacific Crest Trail and a well-trodden boot path. Return past Big Crow Basin.

This hike will be co-led by Ralph Owen.

Please note: this is a challenging hike. Contact Chris Ensor if you are unsure of your stamina to complete this 10 miles, 2,700 elevation gain hike at a moderate pace.

To reach the trailhead will be a 140 mile round trip drive to trailhead from Issaquah or 80 miles from Enumclaw.
