***A WELCOME TO HIKING DAY HIKE*** These are winter hikes sponsored by Tacoma Hiking & Backpacking Committee for those who are new to hiking or want to restart hiking. They will be at a pace appropriate for the group.

We will meet at Nisqually State Park at 8:15am, ready to hike at 8:30am. A Discover Pass is required.  Once registration closes, participants will receive detailed information about meeting up and the plan for the hike.  In the interim, feel free to contact the leader if you have any questions. 

***Welcome to Hiking Series*** Get on the trails during the off-season by joining the Tacoma Hiking & Backpacking Committee on a series of easy to moderate fall and winter hikes that are focused on beginners.  Learn tips, tricks, and strategies from our experienced hike leaders to help increase your confidence to get outside and enjoy yourself. Hikes will range from 4 to 6 miles in length and let at a pace that is appropriate for the group.  These trips will run from November 2021 through March 2022.  

All of these hikes are Leader's Permission Required so that once you notify the hike leader of your interest, we can send you a list of items you will need to  be prepared for the hike.
