Meet at the Visitor Center by 8:15 AM, we will bird the ponds at the visitor center and the parking lot until 8:30 and then head down the board walk. I want to head first to the dike out toward the long bird walk. High tide is at 11 AM and the tide should be pushing water birds up toward the shoreline.  We will then make various circuits around the trails. The weather forecast calls for afternoon showers so we may get rained out before we hit all the fun places.

Bring a lunch just encase we have a good day.

Binoculars and if you have scope bring it, too. I may not be able to bring mine and they can be handy.

The trails are good and well maintained. Always wear good shoes and there might be standing water or mud in a few places that we will need to work around.

Bring rain gear and water. Lots of layers for the wind could be bitting.
