Join other naturalists for this almost annual event. On Saturday, explore the area above Eagle Creek to study and enjoy the plants, birds, and other animals. Return late afternoon in time for a pot luck dinner. Participants are welcome to camp at the ranch Friday and/or Saturday. Restroom facilities with running water are available. On Sunday, continue your explorations in or around the Leavenworth area. Meet Saturday at 9:00 am at the ranch. From US 2 on the east end of downtown Leavenworth, turn north at a traffic light onto Chumstick Road (also called Chumstick Hwy.) Proceed another 2 miles (1/4 mi. past the railroad trestle), and turn right onto Eagle Creek Road. Follow this road for appx. 4 1/4 miles. Look for an old barn with a dark red metal roof and several other buildings. Turn into the drive to the right.
