8:30 AM at Lower Twin Falls TH
We'll hike through Olallie State Park to Twin Falls, go on the John Wayne trail briefly to meet the Mt. Washington trail. We'll take the Mt. Washington trail to the Owl Hike Spot, a resting area created by the Mountaineers over 30 years ago by the after hours hike group. Directions to the Trailhead: From eastbound I-90 take exit 34. At the end of the off-ramp turn right onto SE Edgewick Rd. Follow this road for about a mile and then turn left onto SE 159th St. Just short of a mile the road will end at the trailhead. This is part of Olallie State Park so no forest pass is needed.
