7:30 at Poulsbo Church of the Nazarene
The first mile is a great warm up with switchbacks covered in wildflowers, then mosey up to the saddle for another mile and take in the views all the way to the Hurricane Ridge visitor center. We'll take a break there before turning around and enjoying the views towards Klahane Ridge on the return trip. Great summer conditioning hike and orienteering refresher prior to next season's winter travel. Allow 4-5 hours for the hike with an estimated return to Poulsbo around 5:30 pm. Meet at Poulsbo Church of the Nazarene at 7:30 am or Fat Smitty's (at ~8:00 am) or at Olympic National Park Visitor Center in Port Angeles (~9:00 am).
