Day Hike - Mount Zion

Join us on a mid-week hike in search of wild Rhododendrons in bloom. We will hike at an easy pace (1.5 to miles to 2.0 per hour) up the trail which alternates between steep sections and moderate grades. At the top, we’ll follow a spur to views of Mt Townsend & the Olympics.

We will meet at the Haggen Foods parking lot ( 1313 Cooper Point Road SW, Olympia) at 7:15 a.m. and depart at 7:30 a.m.*  Alternate meeting locations can be set up for hikers coming from the east or north.  

*This is a bit earlier that previously posted, due to the warm temperatures predicted.
