Day Hike - Mount Washington (Snoqualmie)

Day hike with some elevation gain

  • *Varies*, Strenuous, Winter Scramble
  • Challenging
  • Mileage: 9.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 3,200 ft
  • Pace: 2 mph

Mt. Washington (exit 38) parking lot, 8am. Drivers to the trailhead will need a Discover Pass.

Let's check out the snow levels and get some exercise on a Saturday morning! Weather is looking good. We'll take a moderate pace up, a couple of short breaks along the way, and have a nice lunch break at the summit.

We will not be hiking fast, but make sure you are prepared for the distance and elevation gain. The first part of the trail is quite rocky, so boots with good ankle support are a must, and trekking poles are recommended. We might need microspikes. Contact the leader if you have any questions about equipment or fitness!
