  • Strenuous
  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 8.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 3,200 ft
  • Pace: Moderate -- target goal 1,000 ft/hr.

7:15 meet time at trailhead, on the trail by 7:30.

Carpools can be arranged among participants.

We'll probably hit snow somewhere between 3,000 and 3,500 feet, so bring the microspikes and snowshoes if you have them.  This a fairly popular trail and with a couple of days of good weather, there will probably be a boot path up top, but we'll bring the snowshoes just in case.

This is a moderate paced hike -- fast enough to keep the blood pumping, but not so fast that we can't actually talk to each other.  We'll take breaks for snacks and photos hourly or as needed.
