We’ll be moving on a moderate and steady pace, Expect 2hrs up, at least 30mins break on the summit, 1.5hr down. Bring headlamp and microspikes.

We’ll meet at the trailhead at 7:30am, aiming to start hiking by 7:45am

Pace:
We’ll be moving on a moderate and steady pace, expect 2hrs up, at least 30mins break on the summit, 1.5hrs down. We’ll take breaks at the same time - a layer break 10mins in, and then about every 1,000ft. Let’s not spread out too far and be sure to keep an eye on the person behind you.
Emergency:
Make sure your emergency contact person is up to date on your profile on www.mountaineers.org. Expect to receive an emergency contact sheet via email on Saturday. If you have any medical condition or injuries that could affect the group, let me know. If you have taken WFA/MOFA and would like to volunteer to be the first aid leader, let me know as well.

Carpooling is recommended. Don’t forget to reimburse the drivers before they ask, and factor in the possibility of a group lunch after the hike when coordinating.
