This hike is part of the Advanced Conditioning Hiking Series. Do not sign up for this hike unless you are in this course. This hike is located off of I-90 near North Bend. It features a variety of trail experiences ranging from easy road-trail to some steep bushwacking. On the way, we'll pass the famous "Owl Spot". We'll likely encounter snow near the top, so over the ankle boots, gaiters, yak trax and poles are recommended. The summit offers a view of Mt. Rainier as well as of the Seattle area. Mt. Washington is a fun and challenging early season conditioner. Meet at the trailhead (exit 38 from I-90).
