Meet by 6:30 am at the Kimball Drive Park and Ride located at:

6808 Kimball Dr, Gig Harbor, WA 98335

From there we will carpool to the Mt. Walker trailhead.  The gate is normally closed in winter so we will have to park at the closed gate and hike the road to the trailhead.

If you would like to meet at the closed gate we plan to be there by 8 am.

Hike may be cancelled if a large amount of snow falls/accumulates in the area.

Bring microspikes as a traction aid in order to deal with any ice or snow that may be on the trail.  Trekking poles will also be handy to have for balance and to assist in coming back down the trail.
