  • Elevation Gain: 3,300 ft

7 a.m. at the Little Si/Old Si trailhead.  Discover Pass required for parking.

For those who are part of the Tacoma Basic climbing course, students needing a conditioner, will need to carry 25 pounds or 20% of their body weight, whichever is greater; complete the hike to the base of the final pinnacle within 2:30.  I would recommend carrying water for the weight on the ascent that you can dump before coming down.  In addition to the required equipment list below please bring some form of traction.
