10:00 AM at Mt Si Trail Head
This is a mid week conditioner for Tacoma Scrambles (or Basic students). Pack weight 25# or 20% of your body weight, whichever is more, but not more than 40#. Passing time is 2.5 hours with leader discretion for conditions. Hiking boots are OK but no low cut shoes. Traction devices recommended for the last section (Yak Traks or maybe crampons, not sure what conditions will be by then). Poles optional, axes not needed unless you want to carry one, no snowshoes needed. It is typically windy and can be cold at the top, bring a warm layer even if mild start conditions.
