There are vault toilets at this trailhead.
Priority given to those that were on this hike last New Years.
When requesting leaders permission just give us an example of a hike with comparable difficulty that you've done recently and that you are physically fit to maintain the group pace.
Leaders will be bringing stoves and fuel for heating up water. Bring your own mug and favorite powdered beverage of choice.
Bring a puffy jacket, warm gloves, and hat.
A dry shirt to change into, sit pad and trekking poles recommended.
Most likely some type of traction will be required, i.e. micro spikes, yaktrax, or crampons. More on that as the season progresses.
