  • High Point Elevation: 3,190 ft
  • Pace: 2.5

This will be a good conditioning hike for those who have the requirement for upcoming classes to hike up within 2 hours.  We will go up at a pace that allows us to be at the bottom of the rocks within 2 hours (~2.5 mph).  This hike is not recommended if you have not recently done a similar distance, pace and elevation.  Spikes and poles required.  Adding weight to your pack is an option.

Snow is forecasted for North Bend early in the week but Wednesday looks good so far with possible good views on the top.  Final confirmation will go out on Tuesday.

There will be short stops along the way for clothing/water/snacks, a snack break at the top and then we will return to be back at the cars around noon.   Bring appropriate clothing and layering.  The top section tends to be cold especially going back down.

We will meet at 8 a.m. at the restrooms at the trailhead.    A Discover pass is required.
