This hike should provide a good workout to maintain summer conditioning and if the weather is fine we should enjoy good views at the top. My pace is moderate (usually 2 mph) so if you prefer to hike with a faster leader, do not sign up for this trip. Microspikes are required because winter is coming and I will not know in the parking lot if there is ice 3,000 ft above us or not.
