Day Hike - Mount Si Main Trail

Conditioner for Everett Scramble Students

  • Moderate/Strenuous
  • For Beginners (Getting Started Series)
  • Mileage: 8.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 3,150 ft

TBD

A fun way to get a fitness baseline, test out some gear, and bound with classmates!  I will be sharing my gear tips as well.

This trip will be dependent on snow and ice towards the top. Please bring mircospikes. We will NOT be climbing Haystack. It's not my call, it is a Mountaineers policy.

Leased and well behaved dogs are allowed on this trip! However I require participants pick up all poop and carry it (no leaving it on the side of the trail). Just like I require participants to carry their own poop!! Please bring blue bags!! :)

This activity is for the Everett Scramble Students. Students will get registration priority. Last year's graduates get 2nd priority. If you absolutely must be there, there is a space available, and you understand this is catered to Scramble Students please reach out to the trip leader and make your case or you will be dropped from the trip.

If there is snow cramping our style I will do everything I can to make sure we all get up early on a Saturday and suffer real good (except shovel the trail). However there are rules that prevent me from leading hikes in the snow. I will chat with committee members before canceling. And I will give the best heads-up I can. But please keep an eye on emails and conditions!
