Will meet at 9:30 AM at new Mt. Si Trailhead.  I will be leaving from Seattle and can carpool if needed from the 65th St. P&R.

This hike is primarily intended for Seattle Alpine Scramble course students, Glacier Travel course students and any instructors wanting some winter conditioning.  Roster will be opened to other members on March 4th.

Break in your new mountaineering boots and check out your gear!  A moderate to fast paced hike up Mt. Si and back down.  We won't try to set any records and don't feel  you have to bring or carry any specific amount of gear or weight, but we'll get up, get down and get some cherry pie at Twede's after (or whatever the group convinces me we should do).

Due to snow and potential ice at the top, Micro Spikes will be required on this hike.  I'd recommend you bring your normal  hiking gear (or more if you want to).  We can talk about what gear may be useful on a scramble, etc.
