We will meet at 3:45 PM at the Martin Way Park and Ride, reaching the trailhead ready to hike by 5. We will ascend as far as we can by 7:00. Bring your headlamp, because we'll likely need it on the way down!
This hike will be training for individuals who intend to meet the basic climbing minimum clubwide standard for conditioning: ascend 3 miles in two hours at 800 feet per mile, carrying at least 30 pounds (for Mount Rose, that means reaching the summit in about 2 1/2 hours).
