Climb conditioner for 2025 Olympia Basic Alpine Climbing (BAC) Course. Priority for 2025 Olympia BAC and scrambling students until February 2nd. Request leader's permission before registering.

This is a mentored lead for Jeremy Burke. Please reach out to him with questions and admittance to the trip (jburke31292@gmail.com).

All Olympia BAC students must successfully complete a climb conditioner prior to March 23, 2025 (Field Trip 3). Successful completion of this trip counts toward the climb conditioner requirement. You must carry a pack that's 20 percent of your body weight or 35 pound (whichever is heavier) and reach the summit in 2.5 hours to successfully complete this climb conditioner.

PLEASE check your pack weight at home before leaving, do not estimate. Bring a few extra water bottles or heavy objects to supplement the weight if necessary, we will check our packs in the parking lot before leaving.

We will meet at the Olympia Haggen at 6:15 AM on February 9th and either carpool or caravan to the Mount Rose Trailhead from there.
