This is a very strenuous hike since you gain 5,300 ft (1 mile or 8.7 times Space Needle) over 5 miles. That is more than 20% steepness. If you think that you are in good shape for this hike please contact me first before you sign up.

Weather forecast looks pretty good for Saturday:

I will be on camping till Friday afternoon so I may not be reachable but I am still planning to lead this hike. Please make sure that you have 10 hiking essentials, make small snacks and meals accessible and bring plenty of water. We can make very short breaks before we reach destination and I am planning to stay on the summit no longer than 1 hour. This hike will take about 8-11 hours to complete but it may take even longer so do not plan any other activity in the evening. Drive to TH is about 2.5 hours each way so it will be a lot of driving. I can take 3 people in my Subaru Outback. My car is winter green color. For those who are new our usual meeting place is on the north side of 65th Street Park & Ride under I-5. If you are late please call me asap. We cannot wait more than 15 min so please be at the meeting place a little bit earlier. My leading style is that the group stays together all the time because of safety reasons. You can spread a little bit in smaller groups but I require that you maintain visual and vocal distance from the rest of the group. If you have to cancel please cancel as soon as you know that you cannot make it, or call me to let me know after registration ends. I am looking forward to meeting you on Saturday morning at 6 am.
