We will meet at the Verlot Ranger Station at 8:30 and then caravan to the trailhead just a few miles ahead. If anyone needs to carpool they can meet me at the Brickyard Park & Ride at 7:15 am. Anyone who wishes to go directly to the trailhead can meet us there at 9:00am.
The weather for Mt. Pilchuck is looking to be about 75 degrees for the day. It is at this time looking to be a clear day which should offer plenty of views at the summit. As always be sure to bring your Ten Essentials. Sun Protection and sunglasses are a must for a clear warm day. We will have time for hydration breaks and snacks along the way. We will have lunch at the top and a break before we start down. There are plenty of rocks on this trail so be sure to wear over the ankle hiking boots for the hike. Also poles may be nice to have, but that is at your own discretion. We will be going at a mild/moderate pace.
