Day Hike - Mount Fremont Lookout

Slow hike, stopping frequently to take photos

  • Easy
  • Mileage: 5.6 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 800 ft
  • Pace: 1.5 mph or slower with frequent stops

Meet at the Sunrise Visitor Center (outside near the entrance)  by 7:30 AM. We will depart promptly at 7:40 AM.

Note: I will be heading down on Friday, Sept. 6th and staying the the Guesthouse Inn in Enumclaw.

Expectations:
We will be hiking  the trail at a leisurely place and will be stopping often to take photos of the wildflowers. The goal is to get good photos, not to complete the trail in a given time limit. We will eat lunch (be sure to pack one) at noon, then turn back around (if we're not at the lookout by then) . You MUST have your 10 essentials!

If you're not a photographer, but a slow hiker, you are welcome to join us!

Passes:
You will need  either a Northwest Forest Pass or a  one of the National Parks annual passes.
