Mountain Goat Capture and Translocation Closure

Mount Ellinor: August 18-30

The Mount Ellinor trails system and Forest Road 2419 to Mount Ellinor, as well as Forest Road 2464 leading to Forest Road 2419, will be closed to the public starting the evening of August 18 until the morning of August 30. The Mt. Ellinor trails (#812, #812.1, #812.2), Jefferson Pass Trail (#880), and Mt. Ellinor Connector Trail (#827.2) will be affected through this August closure and will not be accessible to visitors. The Big Creek Trail system (#827, 827.1, #827.3) will still be open to the public. For more detailed information, please visit the Olympic National Forest website.
