  • Moderate/Strenuous
  • Challenging
  • Mileage: 11.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 3,584 ft
  • High Point Elevation: 5,584 ft
  • Pace: AVERAGE 40 min/mi but slower up, faster down

Please be ready to leave the trailhead at 7:15 AM. Description of how to get to trailhead here. https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/mount-defiance
Forest Pass required.

I will carpool or take a rider from somewhere along I-90 if OK with: masks on except when eating or drinking, vehicle ventilation on high with fresh air (which means no AC) and cracking open windows whenever either of us deems it's a good idea.

Given the length and elevation gain, and short notice, this trip is limited to Mountaineer members unless you can tell me, without a lot of back and forth emails, what equivalent hikes you've done in past few months.
Besides 10 essentials, please bring mask and hand sanitizer.
