7:00 AM at the Issaquah Transit Garage (northeast entrance/corner)   

We'll start at exit 42, take an unmapped trail up to the Ira Spring Trailhead, and then take the standard route up to Mt Defiance. 4000 ft of gain over 13 miles.  This is a tough hike, you need to have done similar hikes this season. We will hike at a moderate and steady pace.
