Monroe Park and Ride at 5AM

As noted by WTA.org, this is a fantastic hike!  The views at the top are unbelievable and well worth the distance and elevation gain.  Note this is an extremely strenuous hike with 14 miles roundtrip and 5,000 feet of elevation gain, so only those who are very experienced and conditioned should sign-up for this hike.  As this will be a very long day, please plan an early start that will be determined as the date gets closer.

Most of the route will consist of several switchbacks after walking on the White River trail for about 2 miles.  We'll then traverse along until we get to Mt. David where there is a short and easy scramble to the summit.

Note: No guests are allowed...all must be members of the Mountaineers
