Day Hike - Mount Beljica & Gobblers Knob
Explore the remote west side of Mount Rainier National Park and see some of the best views in the park of Emerald Ridge and Mount Rainier. Mount Beljica is a former fire lookout and Gobbler's Knob is one of the park's four current fire lookouts.

This is a very nice hike through the mountain meadows and lakes on Mount Rainier's west side. Most of the hike occurs over gently sloping terrain, gaining and losing elevation as it passes two fire lookout sites (one former and one current). Starting from the Lake Christine trailhead, we will pass by Lake Christine, Beljica Meadows, and Goat Lake on our way to the former fire lookout site on Beljica Mountain and the beautifully restored Gobbler's Knob fire lookout in Mount Rainier National Park.
