0700 at trailhead.  Participants are encouraged to camp nearby the night before to help get an early start.

It's hot, it's steep, it's dry and it's one of the tallest peaks east of Mt. Rainier.  Mt. Aix is thought to be part of the remnants of a volcano much older than Rainier.  Expect a long, strenuous day of glorious views and ridge-walking. I will be camping out nearby the night before and will meet the group at the TH.
