8:00 AM at Woodinville P&R;, 140th NE & NE 179th
Parking at Barlow Pass on the Mountain Loop Hwy east of Granite Falls, we'll walk the gated road into the site of the old mining community. The road/trail follows the South Fork Sauk River and has two river crossings. Once at the townsite, we'll explore the building sites and learn some of the history of this beautiful area. Meet near the entrance to the Woodinville P&R; (140th NE and NE 179th in downtown Woodinville at 8 a.m. Sign up with leader, Suzy Stockton 425-643-0395 or email by Sept. 26. I have decided to change the destination of this hike, probably to Taylor River to Otter Falls.
