Spend Mother's Day with me admiring the camas flowers and I will share some of the controversial theories about the origin of Mima Mounds. For years I've wanted to visit these curious geologic features and now we can share that experience together.
This hike is planned during the heart of camas season and previous reports suggest the first two weeks in May we should see these brilliant wildflowers out in full force covering the mounds. On a clear day, views of Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens have also been reported.
